MBCP+ is a Biphasic Calcium Phosphate Ceramic which is composed of 20% Hydroxyapatite & 80% Tricalcium Phosphate Beta. HA is the closest synthetic equivalent to human bone mineral (biological apatite crystals), it's bio-compatible and bioactive in vivo. TCP is recognised to have great bioactivity, fast dissolution to promote the ionic exchange (Calcium & Phosphorus ions).
